What My Insights Report Taught Me About Business (And How It Can Help You Too)

Running a business is full of lessons, but sometimes you do not realise how much you have learned until you take a step back. Recently, I took part in an Insights Workshop as part of my Operations Certification, and let’s just say—it was an experience.

At first, I was convinced they had got me all wrong. Then I started thinking back to client calls, projects, and the way I naturally run my business, and suddenly it all made sense.

Turns out, I am:
✔️ Practical and results driven
✔️ A problem solver who thrives on efficiency
✔️ Someone who moves fast, challenges what is not working, and gets things done

All great, right? But I also had to face some hard truths.

The Big Realisation: Strengths and Weaknesses Are Two Sides of the Same Coin

My love for efficiency? Amazing when it comes to streamlining businesses. Not so great when I get frustrated that things are moving slower than I would like.
My ability to think ahead? Invaluable for planning and organising. But it also means I sometimes forget to pause and appreciate the progress already made.
My direct approach? Great for clarity and getting results, but it can be a little too straight talking at times.

I used to see these as flaws, but this workshop reminded me that the things we struggle with are often what make us great at what we do. The key is knowing how to manage them.

How This Applies to You as a Business Owner

As female entrepreneurs, we often feel like we have to be everything—the visionary, the doer, the problem solver, the admin team, the marketing expert, the customer service rep... and the list goes on. But the reality is, understanding our strengths (and weaknesses) is how we build a business that actually works for us, instead of draining us.

Ask yourself:
✨ What are you naturally great at?
✨ Where do you feel stuck or frustrated?
✨ What are you forcing yourself to do just because you think you should?

For me, realising that my natural skills make me really good at helping business owners organise, simplify, and streamline was a lightbulb moment. It is why I love stepping in and bringing order to the chaos for my clients.

If you are tired of feeling stuck in the weeds, struggling to keep up with all the things, and craving more clarity and ease in your business, let’s talk.
